Recognized for fifth year of high quality patient care delivery
ARLINGTON, VA – (September 15, 2020) – Privia Medical Group–Mid Atlantic announced today that its Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Privia Quality Network–Mid Atlantic, achieved nearly $40 million in shared savings and demonstrated improved quality of care for its performance in the 2019 Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). Privia Quality Network–Mid Atlantic delivered high-value, cost effective care to more than 71,000 Medicare beneficiaries throughout its local communities.
Privia Quality Network – Mid Atlantic, which includes providers in Washington, D.C. and Virginia, delivered 2019 inpatient and outpatient facility spend 25% and 29% below the median ACO, respectively. The results also show that the ACO continues to receive high quality scores, this year earning a score of 92%
These results demonstrate Privia Quality Network–Mid Atlantic’s dedication to improving the patient experience while delivering high-value, cost-efficient and convenient care. The ACO improves patient outcomes through technology, team-based care, and unique wellness programs to keep people healthy, prevent disease, and improve care coordination both in and outside of the doctor’s office.
