Privia Quality Network–North Texas Celebrates Successful Year in Medicare Shared Savings Program, Generates $3 Million in Savings

Performance results demonstrate fourth straight year of high quality score, improving the health of patients throughout the region

FORT WORTH, TX – (September 15, 2020) – Privia Medical Group–North Texas announced that its accountable care organization (ACO), Privia Quality Network–Central Texas, continues to make significant improvements in the quality of care for nearly 9,000 Medicare beneficiaries throughout the North Texas region

In 2019, the ACO delivered $3 million in shared savings through the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and received an above average quality score of 94%. The performance results show that the physicians and healthcare providers in the ACO achieved 2019 outpatient expenditures 39% below the median ACO, and inpatient expenditures 17% below the median ACO.

These achievements demonstrate Privia Quality Network–Central Texas’ commitment to enhancing the patient and family experience, improving outcomes, and reducing overall expenses to provide high-quality, cost-efficient healthcare options.
