Leadership
Melissa joined Privia Health in 2019 and serves as the President of our Ohio Market, where she is responsible for developing and leading the market’s strategic vision and driving growth, operational excellence, and practice performance. Melissa also manages Privia Women’s Health and Privia Pediatrics nationally as the Senior Vice President of Specialties.
Before joining Privia, Melissa was the Regional Vice President for MEDNAX National Medical Group, providing operational oversight of a 10-state, multi-practice geography covering 65+ health system partnerships, 30+ surgery centers, and 750+ employed physicians and APPs across diverse specialties, such as anesthesia, CTICU, pain medicine, hospitalists, and women's and children's services. In this role, Melissa was deeply immersed in the day to day of healthcare, supporting quality, strategy, health system partnerships, and overall P&L growth for the organization.
Melissa is a 2022 Nashville Health Care Council Fellow and has held leadership positions with payers and hospitals.
As Senior Medical Director of Privia Medical Group – Ohio and OhioHealth’s Clinically Integrated Network (CIN), Dr. Voet works closely with physicians to engage them in transformational ways to achieve the Quintuple Aim of healthcare. With her years of experience as a clinician, practice owner, and population-health leader, Dr. Voet aims to create strategies that align the goals of providers, the OhioHealth system, and payers. Prior to joining Privia, Dr. Voet served as Medical Director of Quality for OhioHealth’s CIN and Medical Director for National Church Residences andmanaged her independent group practice. She has a special interest in care of the geriatric patient population. Dr. Voet received her medical degree from The Ohio State University and is board-certified in family medicine.
