Leadership
Jody Morris is the Co-President of Privia Medical Group – North Carolina. He brings more than 27 years of healthcare leadership experience, focusing on value-based care operations, payer contracting, strategic growth, physician practice operations management, and hospital operations management.
Prior to Privia, Jody served as Vice President of Physician Services and the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) at Novant Health. In this role, Jody developed, launched, and lead the operations of a new CIN within Novant Health, which now includes over 4,000 employed and private practice physicians and advanced practice providers. Jody also led ChoiceHealth, Inc, a subsidiary of Novant Health that offers messenger model payer contracting and NCQA accredited delegated credentialing services to independent practitioners in a three-state region.
Jody previously served as the Vice President and COO of the Triangle Market for Novant Health, leading operations for both an acute care hospital and the Novant Health Medical practices located in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina. In addition, Jody also worked for over 6 years as the Director of Managed Care for Novant Medical Group, leading the payer contracting strategy and negotiations on behalf of all providers employed by Novant Medical Group.
Jody holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned a Master of Business Administration from Appalachian State University.
